Samir lives in a working-class suburb of a large provincial town.
Between boredom and little stunts to kill time with friends, his father trains him as a plumber. When his father dies suddenly, Samir has no choice but to take over the family business to support his mother and two sisters. But fate decides otherwise...
At the local media library, he has a revelation: in front of a magazine cover portraying a surfer, his horizon widens. His future is there, in front of his eyes.
From then on, he will do everything in his power to make his dream come true, starting with the basics: learning to swim.
